Pilot's Information

Q. Where is the airport located?
    A. We are located at 771 Airport Road.  Heading South on Garrett Highway, US 219 in McHenry, turn left on Mosser Road proceed 0.3 miles, turn left onto Bumble Bee Road and proceed 2.1 miles to airport entrance (Airport Road) on the left.

Q. What are the local town's attractions?
    A. We are located in Maryland near McHenry, Accident, and Deep Creek Lake.  There are mountains of possibilities located in Garrett County including snow skiing, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, camping, summer water activities, fishing and hunting.  Garrett County is known for its beautiful mountains and a variety of seasonal outdoor activities, vacation getaways, fairs, festivals and heritage celebrations.

Q. Does Garrett County Airport have a courteous car.
    A. No.  However, we do have cars for rent.  (Please call in advance)

Q. What are your hours of operations?
    A. Runway is open 24/7. Airport personnel are on duty 8 am - 6 pm.

Q. What type aircraft approaches are available?
    A. VOR and GPS

Q. Do you have any commercial flights out of Garrett County Airport?
    A. No.  Charter services do fly in and out of Garrett County Airport.  (Call for more information)
