Areas of Operation

  • Telecommunications
    Maintains the telephone system for the Garrett County Courthouse, Board of Education, and the Public Service Center located at 1916 & 2008 Maryland Highway. Manages calling cards and monthly telephone service billings.
  • Property Management
    Provides maintenance and custodial services for County owned facilities.
  • County Agreement Records
    Maintains County deeds, leases, and agreements for facilities and services.
  • Capital Projects
    Responsible for organizing and overseeing new construction and renovation projects
  • Liquor Licenses
    Responsible for issuing Alcoholic Beverage Licenses at the retail level and enforcement of State and Local laws, rules, and regulations governing retail sales. Provides administrative services for the Liquor Control Board/Board of License Commissioners
