If you plan on constructing a new commercial or residential driveway access onto a county road, you will need an entrance permit. This also applies if you propose a change in use on the property. If the access you propose is onto a state or town roadway, you will need to obtain an entrance permit from the relevant agency. Please click the Other Agency Contacts link above for address and phone information for the State Highway Administration. The phone numbers for local town halls are listed in the government section of the phone book.
