The Floodplain Ordinance can be reviewed on-line by clicking on the following link: Floodplain Management Ordinance

A permit is required for any construction activity, grading and/or filling within the Federally delineated 100-year Floodplain of all streams in Garrett County. Maps showing these Floodplain areas are available for review at the Permits and Inspection office.
