Pre-Bid Meeting: Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room located at 203 South Fourth Street, Room 209 in Oakland, Maryland.
The cost of specifications and drawings is $100.00 per set. Check should be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland. All out of town contractors must pre-pay for shipping and the cost of the plans. Contractors shall supply either a FedEx or UPS account number for courier service.
Project Description: The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the removal and replacement of Bridge No. G-03, Corona Bayard Road over the North Branch of the Potomac River, in Garrett County, Maryland. The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the removal and replacement of the bridge, approach roadway work along Corona Bayard and Althouse Hill Road and maintenance of traffic. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A performance/payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.

Project Descripton: The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland on behalf of Garrett Trails, Inc. will accept sealed bids for the contruction of an approximately 1,073' bike and pedestrian trail running from Deep Creek Drive to Marsh Hill Road in McHenry, Maryland. The work in this contract includes but is not limited to the following: excavation, drainage, aggregate base course, seeding and mulching, boardwalk construction and hot mix asphalt paving. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A payment/performance bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.

Project Description: The Board of County Commisssioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed proposals from qualified firms for engineering services for the Maple Street Sewer Line Extension located in Friendsville, Maryland. Proposals shall be comprehensive such that all engineering services necessary for the design, bidding, construction and final approval phases are included.

The work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, the following tasks: sub-grade preparation, trench drain installation, milling, stone base preparation and paving.
