GARRETT COUNTY BUSINESS OWNER RECEIVES GLOBAL ACCLAIM
 
OAKLAND, MD — March 14, 2014 — Frank Vitez, President of Phenix Technologies, Inc., was honored with the World Trade Center Institute’s (WTCI’s) International Business Leadership Award on March 5 at the Jim Rouse Visionary Center in Baltimore.
 
The Maryland International Business Leadership Awards celebrate vision and excellence of leadership in Maryland-based businesses thriving globally. Convening the business elite of Maryland, this event honors innovators forging paths of profitability—locally, nationally, and worldwide.
 
Phenix Technologies develops, designs, manufactures, sells, and services high-voltage, high-current, and high-power test components and systems. The company began its journey as American HV Test Systems in 1975, and changed its name in 1989 during a buyout by the current owners. Pioneering cutting-edge technologies from its Accident, Maryland-based facility, Phenix ships its products to 113 countries worldwide.
