GARRETT COUNTY LANDFILL
WINTER HOURS OF OPERATION
October 1, 2015
The Garrett County Department of Solid Waste & Recycling announces Saturday winter hours for the Garrett County Landfill.
Effective October 9, 2015 the Landfill will be closed on Saturdays to commercial haulers and large residential loads. Saturday full service hours will begin again on April 15, 2016.
Residential users may continue to use the Garrett County Landfill from 8AM till Noon on Saturdays provided that they either have a residential permit or pay the required fees.
Landfill users are also reminded that the 2016 permits are available now and will be valid from the date of purchase through December 31, 2016. Purchasing online is the fastest and easiest way to renew your permit. Sign in to payments at www.garrettcounty.org.
