Winter Hours for the GC Landfill
 
 
The Garrett County Department of Solid Waste & Recycling announces winter hours for the Garrett County Landfill.
 
Effective Friday, November 15, 2013 the Landfill will be closed on Saturdays to commercial haulers and large residential loads.  Saturday full service hours will begin again on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
 
Residential users may continue to use the Landfill from 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 Noon on Saturdays provided that they either have a residential permit or pay the required fees.
 
Landfill users are also reminded that the Landfill and the Collection Sites will be closed for Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 28, 2013.
