The Garrett County's Most Beautiful Person Committee held their 30th ceremony during the Board of County Commissioners Public Meeting on Monday, October 3, 2016 to recognize all this year's nominees and to announce this year's winner.  
 
There was a total of 6 nominees received for this year's contest listed below:
  • Lena Fratz
  • Stewart Holt
  • Eric Robison
  • Cindy's Fund
  • Billy Weissgerber
  • George Lander
This year's winner is Geroge W. Lander.
 
The Garrett County's Most Beautiful Person Contest is based on volunteer efforts and neighborly goodwill of individuals/groups that has previously gone unnoticed.
