RE:                            Oakland Sang Run Road Bridge Completion

The Board of Garrett County Commissioners will be attending a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the newly completed Oakland Sang Run Road Bridge on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

The new bridge is a 61 foot galvanized steel beam bridge that also has an increase width to allow pedestrian/ bike lanes. The existing abutments were modified to accept the new structure.

All work was completed by Garrett County Roads Department personnel with the assistance of Carl Belt Inc., providing crane services for setting the structural steel. The project was completed in 8 weeks.
