The Deep Creek Lake Watershed Management Plan Steering Committee invites public attendance at all meetings of the steering committee and its four subcommittees.  Some meetings will have a conferencing option for those who cannot attend.  Those interested in that option are to contact Deborah Carpenter at 301-334-1920 or dcarpenter@garrettcounty.org.  Meeting announcements, agendas and pre-meeting educational materials for both the Steering Committee and the subcommittees will be posted at http://www.dnr.state.md.us/deepcreekwatershedplan/.  The following meetings will be held in the next month.
 
Lake Levels subcommittee – February 12, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Garrett County Health Department Conference Room (RM 107), 1025 Memorial Drive, Oakland MD  21550
 
Impacts of Growth subcommittee – February 13, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Chamber of Commerce meeting room, 15 Visitors Center Drive, McHenry MD  21541
 
Water Quality subcommittee – February 20, 2014 from 9:00 – 11:30 am at the Garrett County Extension Services office, 1916 Maryland Hwy, Mt Lake Park MD  21550
 
Accountability subcommittee – February 21, 2014 from 9:00 – 11:30 am – this meeting is held via conference call only.  Please contact Deborah for details.
