During the Garrett County Commission meeting on Monday [April 27th], Chairman Paul Edwards stated that the request for proposals for a study of economic impacts of fracking in the county will continue, according to the draft meeting notes.
A consultant will be hired to work with county staff and the Garrett County Marcellus Shale Natural Advisory Group to assist in the development of the scope of work for the study. The consultant will be responsible for holding a public forum during the development of the scope of work for the RFP.
