Garrett County Department of Public Works - Roads Division
Road Worker – Contractual*

$15.00 an hour
CDL A or B preferred 
*Contractual Position - Working 40 hours per week.  Eligible for Health Insurance only with paid sick and safe leave (SSL).
Garrett County Department of Public Works - Facilities & Maintenance Division
Custodian - Full Time
Starting Pay $13.75/hour      Evening Hours 4:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Building Services Worker - Full Time
Starting Pay $16.00 - $17.50/ hour

Minimum Requirements
Starting pay $22.48/hr**

Correctional Officer*
Minimum Requirements
Starting pay $19.69/hr**

Public Safety Communications Officer* (911/Dispatch)
Starting pay $18.43/hr**

*$1,000 bonus upon hire and an additional $1,000 bonus upon successful completion of probationary period.                                                    **Additional pay for lateral transfers
