Announcement - March 19, 2020 / Alcoholic Beverage License Renewal
The Board of License Commissioners voted to extend the alcoholic beverage renewal application deadline until June 1, 2020.  The notarized signature requirement on renewal applications has been lifted.

Garrett County Health Officer Bob Stephens issued a Directive and Order on May 19, 2020 reinforcing the face covering requirement. Press Release - March 23, 2020
Governor Hogan ordered the closure of all non-essential businesses in the state and announced a $175 million relief package to assist employees, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Press Release - March 19, 2020

Press Release - March 16, 2020
Governor Hogan ordered the closure of bars and restaurants, and expanded the prohibition on gatherings to those of more than 50 people.  Effective 5:00 PM all restaurants and bars are to close the general public.  On-premise dining and drinking is prohibited. The order allows for restaurants and bars to continue drive-thru and carry-out as long as it is promptly taken from the premises.  Click here to view the press conference.  Click here to view the Executive Order.
