Garrett County Sheriff's Department is Hiring!

The GC Sheriff’s Department is looking for motivated individuals interested in applying for the position of correctional officer.  On Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the GCSD will be conducting interviews at the Garrett County Courthouse at 313 East Alder Street, Oakland, MD for qualified individuals.

Starting salary is $39,008. There is an additional salary increase for lateral transfers for Maryland Certified Correctional Officer.
