Landfill and Waste Collection Sites: New Year's Holiday Hours

The Garrett County Department of Solid Waste & Recycling has announced the New Year's holiday schedule for the landfill and six waste collection sites:

CLOSED on Monday, January 2, 2023

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2022

 

CLOSED on Sunday, January 1, 2023

 

7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Monday, January 2, 2023

 

As a reminder, the 2023 residential waste permits are now available. Current permit holders can renew on the county website (https://www.garrettcounty.org/solid-waste-recycling/refuse-site-permits) with no need for a new sticker. A $75 fee applies.
 
Also, the Christmas Tree recycling program will resume again this season. More information can be found on our website at https://www.garrettcounty.org/solid-waste-recycling/christmas-tree-recycling
