The State of Maryland requires that counties update Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plans (LPPRP) every six years. Garrett County’s last LPPRP was completed in 2012. The LPPRPs qualify local governments for State Program Open Space (POS) grants and other programs.
The main purpose for this survey is to allow citizens the opportunity to help the County identify deficiencies and opportunities in the level of service provided by existing parks and recreational opportunities in Garrett County.
Surveys will be collected until
March 11, 2016. Any questions regarding this survey should be directed to the Garrett County Department of Planning & Land Management at (301)334-1920.
