Garrett County Emergency Operations Center

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room located at 203 South Fourth Street, Room 209 in Oakland, Maryland.
Description:  The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for construction of the Garrett County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to be located at 210 Francis Sanders Drive West in Oakland, Maryland.  The EOC is a new, single story, 14,087 GSF building.  The main structure of the building will be precast structural wall panels and bar joints with a standing seam metal roof.  Site work will be completed byt the County, and only minimal site elements are to be included in the base bid.  The base bid will consist of the entire shell of the building, with a portion of fit-out for offices, bunk areas, restrooms, etc.  Alternate 1 will consist of the fit-out of the 911 Dispatch and Dispatch Supervisor areas and Alternate 2 will consist of Site Fencing and Vehicular Gate.  A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid.  A performance/payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.
