Description:  The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed proposals from interested parties to establish a contract for Animal Shelter and Animal Adoption Services to include: animal shelter, animal adoption, and related services for companion animals.  "Companion animals" include dogs, cats and feral cats, but does not include livestock, exotic animals, other feral animals or wildlife.

Friendsville WWTP Equalization Tank Replacement Bid #18-0823

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room located at 203 South Fourth Street, Room 209 in Oakland, Maryland.
 
Description:  The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Friendsville WWTP Equalization Tank Replacement Project in Friendsville, Maryland.  The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following tasks; demolition and disposal of existing 300,000-gallon steel tank; construction of a new 500,000-gallon precast concrete tank and foundation; tank mixing system; concrete vault and flow meter; site piping; valves; site fence; and all necessary appurtenances.  A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid.  A performance/payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.
 
Bid documents and specifications may be obtained in person from the Garrett County Purchasing Department, 313 East Alder Street, Room 104, Oakland, Maryland 21550.  The cost of the bid specifications and drawings is $150.00 per set and is nonrefundable.  All out of town contractors must pre-pay for shipping and the cost of the plans.  Inquires may be made by calling  (301) 334-5003.

Hoyes Run Electrical Distribution Site Bid #18-0823H

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room located at 203 South Fourth Street, Room 209 in Oakland, Maryland.
 
Description:  The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Hoyes Run Electrical Distribution Site Project located in McHenry, Maryland.  The work is generally described as follows:  Site Work; Installation of Conduits; Installation of Communications and Electrical Pull Boxes; Installation of 250KW Diesel Generator; Installation of Security Fence; and construction of all other incidental work necessary to complete the Hoyes Run Electrical Distribution Site Project as more fully shown in the Plans and Specifications prepared by Rummel, Klepper & Kahl, LLP.  A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid.  A performance/ payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.
