The Garrett County Department of Public Works - Roads Division advises the public that road maintenance will be taking place on New Germany Road on the date of Monday, August 5, 2019.  New Germany Road will be closed to traffic from the hours of 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this date. The temporary closure will be located ¼ mile from Chestnut Ridge Road going North.
The suggested alternate routes for traffic during the time of temporary closure includes Chestnut Ridge Road and U.S. Route 40.
