OAKLAND, MD — Garrett County Department of Planning & Land Management announced today that a survey is available on the County’s Watershed Website for Garrett County residents and visitors to provide feedback to local and state agencies regarding stakeholder information, interests, news habits, and concerns.
The survey is available at:

The Administrative Council (representatives from Garrett County, Maryland Department of Natural Resources and Maryland Department of the Environment) is tasked with implementing the
Deep Creek Lake Watershed Management Plan. One of the goals of the plan is to "nurture an informed and engaged citizenry regarding the Deep Creek Lake watershed" (Goal 2).
The goal of this survey is to help the Administrative Council better understand what kind of information is needed and how best to disseminate that information to accomplish this objective. Your participation and input to this end is exceptionally valuable and greatly appreciated.
The survey is open until September 2020.
Responses will be complied and a report will be available on the Department of Planning & Land Management website upon completion.
