The University of Maryland's Capstone Course in Environmental Management recently completed a study titled: Environmental Impacts of Wake Boats on Deep Creek Lake with Consideration of Recreational and Social Benefits.  Five master's degree candidates worked together to complete the study.  The study briefly describes the physical properties of wake boats, compares polices throughout the United States, and evaluates the costs and benefits of wake boat usage.
